Key midfielder is ‘questionable’ – Oliver Glasner delivers Crystal Palace team news ahead of Fulham FA Cup clash

Oliver Glasner says Will Hughes is a slight doubt for Crystal Palace ahead of their FA Cup clash against Fulham tomorrow.

The Austrian boss admitted the key midfielder’s availability is up in the air due to an illness.

Palace head to their Premier League rivals looking to book a place in the last four of the competition and secure a place at Wembley.

“The positive thing is all players are fit and available – just Will Hughes is questionable.

“He’s a bit sick, so let’s see how the afternoon and the night will be.

“But all others arrived back from the national teams in very good shape, and all the players who are here are fit.

“It’s just Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure who are out for the rest of the season. All others are ready.”

Jean-Philippe Mateta is available for selection after needing 25 stitches following a horror clash with Millwall keeper Liam Roberts in the last round of the cup.

He will wear a protective mask to cover his ear during the game.

“He trains now for two weeks with us,” said Glasner.

“Of course, always with his protection, and it’s also important for him to train a little bit.

“We had an internal game during the international break and he could play for 60 minutes without any problems, so he’s ready.

“I watched JP this week in training and he was the same as before.

“There was no fracture or concussion. He has put his head into challenges over the last two weeks.

“If I believed there was a problem, I wouldn’t play him.”
