Liam Trotter: Bromley’s target is promotion – not just reaching National League play-offs

Former Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter says Bromley’s aims don’t stop at the play-offs, and insists theY are aiming for promotion.
Bromley drew 0-0 away at National League leaders Torquay United on Saturday.
Trotter told BT Sport: “We’ve come away to a team who’s top of the league, didn’t concede and performed well.
“We came here to win, so we are a bit disappointed. There’s six teams vying for three places, we’re one of those teams. We came here today and put in a good performance and we believe we can get into the play-offs.
“We’ve come up against some good teams, but we’ve proven in the last few weeks that we’re a good team and I don’t think anyone would want to play against us in the play-offs.
“The gaffer has tweaked a few things. We were a good team beforehand but we were missing one or two things and he’s come in and spotted those things and made those changes. As you can see, with just a few tweaks we are now a much better team.
“The fixtures coming up are good practice for if we get into the play-offs – 100 per cent [we believe we can make the play offs] that’s what we’re going for and what we’ve been going for all season.
“The new manager has come in and made it exactly clear what we are going for, we’re going for promotion not just the play-offs.”
