Lions seeking extra tickets for Sheffield United fixture
By Richard Cawley
Millwall are hoping to increase their allocation for Saturday’s away match at Sheffield United – after selling out their initial batch of tickets.
Despite the kick-off being moved forward to 1pm, it has not stopped Lions fans from snapping up the 1,539 tickets on offer.
Millwall issued a statement on Monday saying it was liaising with Sheffield United and the EFL to try and have an increase so that even more supporters can travel north for a clash of two play-off rivals.
The Lions, unbeaten in 15 matches, were given an allocation of 1,102 tickets for Tuesday’s fixture at Bolton Wanderers.
