London Broncos adopt new pricing structure to help supporters affected by cost of living

London Broncos supporters will pay less to watch the club at Plough Lane in 2023 thanks to a fresh membership pricing structure designed to help those impacted by rises to the cost of living.

An annual membership for adults, concessions and juniors has been introduced and will replace the traditional season ticket which required one single full payment.

Instead, supporters will now pay a far more cost-effective initial fee to unlock access to a heavily discounted ticket to all home Championship fixtures in 2023.

Early-bird adult membership will go on sale on Monday, October 3, and has been priced at £80 to reflect the year the club was founded in 1980 as Fulham RLFC.

Concession membership can be purchased for £43 ahead of the Broncos’ 43rd campaign as part of the club’s new era at the Cherry Red Records Stadium under Mike Eccles. Junior (U16s) membership has been frozen at £20.

Once a membership has been purchased, adults and concessions will be able to buy a ticket for games for £10 when they go on sale while all junior memberships include free entry.

Mark Kemp, head of commercial, said becoming a member entitles supporters to cheaper tickets and offers greater flexibility.

“We recognise many people are living through tough times financially,” said Kemp. “Our decision to introduce annual membership will support those hit by rises to the cost of living and make professional rugby league in London an affordable and quality experience.

“This change is necessary if we are to fulfil our commitment to growing the popularity of rugby league in London and across the south-west while being a family-friendly club in the heart of Wimbledon.

“Membership offers greater flexibility too for supporters who cannot commit to attending every home fixture but remain regular visitors to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

“We hope this minor change to our ticketing structure is welcomed by our loyal fanbase and would like to assure all supporters requiring assistance when purchasing memberships that the club will be able to assist where necessary with the purchasing process.

“We look forward to seeing everyone pitch side in 2023.”

The move has cut the total cost of watching every home Broncos fixture from £240 to £210 for adults while concessions can access every home league game for just £173.

Admission on matchdays for non-members will be £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £5 for juniors. U12s can gain entry for £3.

Kemp added: “Spreading payment costs through the season while saving money compared to our 2022 prices will benefit all Broncos fans.

“We endured a tough campaign on the pitch this season, but the support for Mike and his players never faltered.

“Next year promises to be a big season for the Broncos as we look to secure our position inside the Championship’s play-off frame and continue working towards the club’s long-term objectives in our new era.

“We hope as many supporters as possible take advantage of this fantastic offer and get behind the Broncos.”
