Lucas Browne is setting up camp in the UK three weeks before his heavyweight clash with Dillian Whyte – and is promising to inflict pain on the Brixton heavyweight.

South Londoner Whyte puts his WBC international silver title on the line against the heavy-handed Australian.

The winner will boost their chances of a huge money-spinning bout with either IBF and WBA world champion Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder, who holds the WBC version.

Whyte is already number one ranked by the latter body, meaning he is in the mandatory contender slot to force a meeting with unbeaten American Wilder.

The undefeated Browne faces Whyte at Greenwich’s 02 Arena on March 24.

He said: “I can’t wait to get amongst it [in the UK] and do some good training – really show the world what I’m made of. Dillian, you are in trouble my boy, because I’m ready – no excuses – and I’m going to hurt you badly. You are in hard trouble.

“I’m going to win and take that nice little silver belt. I’m going to enjoy it.”
