Mahlon Romeo signs Millwall contract

Millwall have extended Mahlon Romeo’s stay – with the right-back the latest key member of the squad to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Centre-back Shaun Hutchinson and central midfielder Shaun Williams also recently agreed fresh contracts.

And the Lions, two points off the Championship play-offs after the latest round of matches, also announced promising teenager Billy Mitchell, 18, had signed a long-term deal.

Romeo has been a mainstay of the side since Gary Rowett took the managerial reigns and was an excellent free transfer pick up by predecessor Neil Harris after his release by Gillingham in the summer of 2015.
