Major boost as big Millwall player set for return against Reading

Shaun Hutchinson is set to resume full training today – with the Millwall defender hopefully ready to be back in contention after the international break.
A knee injury has sidelined last season’s Player of the Year since August 22.
But Hutchinson looks likely to be available for the Lions’ trip to Reading on October 20.
“Hutch will be back in training with the group and we’ll be looking to get him some minutes this week,” said Millwall manager Neil Harris. “That will possibly be with our U23s on Friday.
“There is every chance he comes back into our squad for Reading.”
The Lions initially wobbled in Hutchinson’s absence but ended an eight-game winless league run on Saturday as they beat Aston Villa 2-1 at The Den.
The former Fulham and Motherwell centre-back will boost Harris’ selection options.
“First and foremost he is my vice-captain and a popular and big personality in the squad,” said the Lions chief. “We’ve missed him because he has an effect at the training ground.
“Hutch is a winner and a warrior. He wants to be the best every day in training. He pushes himself to the limit every day.”
