Manchester United ‘agree £73m fee’ for South London football star Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee of £73million with Borussia Dortmund for South London-born Jadon Sancho.

The 21-year-old has scored 38 goals in 104 appearances for the German side over a four-year spell.

Reports claim that the details on the payment structure have now been finalised with personal terms already agreed.

The Camberwell-born winger, raised in Kennington, is set to officially join United after the European Championships, subject to passing a medical.

Sancho would become the second most expensive English footballer of all time behind Harry Maguire, who United signed from Leicester City for £80m in 2019.

Sancho’s former side Manchester City are set for a windfall due to a sell-on clause they included in Sancho’s move to Dortmund in 2017.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side failed in their pursuit of Sancho last summer after the two clubs could not agree a fee.
