Michy Batshuayi is yet to speak to parent club Chelsea about his future – but says he has enjoyed his loan at Crystal Palace.

The Belgian international joined the Eagles on a temporary deal on deadline day in January and has netted an important six goals in 13 appearances.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitted the Eagles “appreciate” the former Marseille man, but Batshuayi will speak to Chelsea to decide his future.

“No [I have not spoken to Chelsea about my future],” said the 25-year-old.

“I will go back to Chelsea to decide but at the moment I do not know more.

Batshuayi capped his loan with a clinical brace in Palace’s 5-3 victory against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.

The striker has clicked well with Wilfried Zaha.

“Wilf is a good player, he’s very clever,” said Batshuayi. “He’s strong and fast, so it is easy to play with a player who has a lot of quality.

“Of course [I have enjoyed my loan]. I am very happy because I had never scored here at this stadium [Selhurst Park]. It was my first goals at Crystal Palace’s stadium. Of course, I am very happy to have come here, it has been a good experience.”
