Midfield duo both staying at Charlton Athletic
James Vennings and Ben Dempsey are both set to stay at Charlton Athletic.
The young duo were due to be out of contract this summer, but the South London Press understands they will be extending their terms in SE7.
Vennings, 2o, made his first-team bow for the Addicks at the end of November, replacing Albie Morgan in a 3-1 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday.
He went on to make two other substitute appearances in the Championship and started their FA Cup defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Dempsey had a loan spell at Dulwich Hamlet in November and featured for the National League South side in their FA Cup defeat to Carlisle United.
He was recalled as Charlton’s injury crisis deepened. Dempsey made three Championship starts but did not feature again after the middle of January.
