Millwall and Charlton face off in pre-season friendly

Millwall and Charlton will play each other in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The game will take place at The Den on July 25, with the clash kicking off at 7:45pm.

Gary Rowett’s side finished eighth in the Championship last season, missing out on the play-offs after a final day 4-3 defeat at home to Blackburn. The Lions ended the season one point away from the top six.

Millwall have already signed Scottish striker Kevin Nisbet ahead of the new season.

Dean Holden’s Addicks finished 10th in League One, 15 points away from the top six.

The last competitive meeting between the two sides came in July 2020, with Jake Cooper scoring the only goal of the game as Millwall picked up all three points.
