Millwall boss Neil Harris hoping Lee Gregory’s injury is just cramp and his reaction to a point against Sheffield Wednesday

Neil Harris is hoping that Lee Gregory was just suffering from cramp after coming off in Millwall’s 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday tonight.
The Lions could be boosted by Tom Elliott returning for Saturday’s FA Cup tie at AFC Wimbledon.
Harris said Elliott was fit for selection – after missing matches as he recovered from a shoulder dislocation – but then was unwell for the visit of the Owls.
Asked about Gregory’s withdrawal, the Millwall chief said: “We think it is just a bit of cramp, we hope it is just a bit of cramp. He ran himself into the ground – it was an excellent performance by him.
“We’ll know more in the morning.
“Tom was fit for tonight, but he was ill.”
There were elements of Tuesday’s match which pleased Harris.
“I’ll focus on the positives,” he said. “The first half we were outstanding and dominated the game. Jordan [Archer] kicked the ball once in 27 minutes, that’s how much we dominated possession.
“We got in some really good areas, in behind the full-backs and into the penalty area – we forced set-plays in and around the area. We have to do better. I’ve got quality players and I expect better end product. Sheffield Wednesday changed things at half-time and made it more difficult for us. But we created enough chances to win the game.
“When we don’t get ourselves in front, we have conceded a lot of late goals over the course of the campaign and everyone becomes a little bit edgy in the last 10 minutes. That was seen tonight. We certainly shot ourselves in the foot a few times by giving the ball away cheaply – I’ve said to the players they have to be calmer, methodical and braver with their decision-making.
“But the good thing for me is that we’re back to being very hard to beat – especially here. If we can’t win the game then I want to keep a clean sheet and make sure we get a point. It was another solid defensive display.”
