Millwall boss reacts to transfer talk surrounding Wigan striker Kieffer Moore

Gary Rowett would not be drawn on whether Millwall are in talks to sign Wigan striker Kieffer Moore.
The Lions and QPR have both had bids accepted for the forward.
Moore scored for Wigan in last night’s 1-1 home draw with Fulham. The Latics have been relegated with the EFL deducting them 12 points for going into administration, although it is subject to an appeal.
“There’s a lot of players that we are interested in,” said Rowett. “We need more goals in the group, not just in the team but in the group, that’s obviously an area we are focusing on.
“Like any deal we keep working hard to see where any of them go.”
The Lions’ 4-1 home win over Huddersfield last night ensured they finished eighth in the Championship for the second time in three years.
Rowett is keen to strengthen his side in the summer.
“When you are trying to add players with a bit more quality in certain areas you have to make sure it doesn’t affect the dynamic of the group which is so important – especially here,” he said.
“The dynamic of the group is vital to the club and to the team, so we have to get that right. But we have to try and make the team better and in order to do that we are going to have to take a gamble in one or two areas and mix it up a bit.”
