Millwall boss Rowett has praise for his leading scorers as both on target at Luton Town

Gary Rowett has praised Zian Flemming and Tom Bradshaw after the duo both notched their 12th goals of the season in Millwall’s 2-2 draw against Luton.

Flemming fired Millwall into a fourth minute lead at Kenilworth Road to nudge ahead of Bradshaw in the Lions scoring charts, but the in-form striker doubled the visitors lead to regain his spot alongside the Dutchman.

Bradshaw was teed up by George Honeyman, who appeared to be in an offside position. While Rowett hadn’t seen the goal back, he was full of praise for his two “leading lights”.

The Lions boss said: “I haven’t seen the goal back but I presumed it was okay at the time. It’s great for Zian to score again – I think that takes him to 12 now and Bradders to 12 too. Once more, they’ve been the leading lights for us.

“What we need to do is keep chipping in all over the park because if one of them did pick anything up then someones got to step in. The players are working really hard. Everyone is working their socks off.

“You can see the amount of effort they’re putting in. It’s about getting to Saturday and hoping the players have had enough recovery to go again.”
