Millwall close on deal for Notts County striker Langstaff

Millwall are closing on a deal to sign Notts County prolific striker Macaulay Langstaff.

The Lions have been chasing the 27-year-old this summer and now look set to land last season’s League Two Golden Boot winner.

Langstaff signed a new deal until 2027 in August with the League Two side and accepted the role of club captain on June 10.

But the former Gateshead striker now looks set to play Championship football for the first time in his career.

Millwall’s only senior strikers are Tom Bradshaw and Kevin Nisbet.

Japhet Tanganga is also set for medical with the Lions ahead of a permanent move.
