Millwall are hoping to make Ipswich Town goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski their second signing of the summer transfer window.

The Lions have a few final details to sort on a move for the Polish stopper, including presumably a medical.

Bialkowski, 31, has previously attracted interest from Crystal Palace.

Millwall are in the market for two goalkeepers following the summer exits of David Martin, Jordan Archer, Tom King and Ben Amos – the latter only on loan from Bolton Wanderers.

Lions chief Neil Harris has talked about adding Championship know-how to his squad and Bialkowski has played the last five seasons at that level.

He has racked up more than 300 matches in his career. Bialkowski was signed by Southampton from Polish side Gornik Zabrze in 2006 and made 42 appearances before joining Notts County in 2012.

Bialkowski won three consecutive Player of the Year awards at Ipswich Town. In July 2018 he signed a new three-year deal with the Tractor Boys but relegation from the Championship last season means he is available to move on.
