Jake Cooper could be the next Millwall player to get an international call-up – but is refusing to reveal yet which country he may be eligible to represent.
The big centre-back has been a star performer for the Lions this season and has previously represented England at under-18 through to under-20 level.
Cooper, 23, told the South London Press: “There might be something arising but I won’t talk too soon. We’ll see….there could be.
“I don’t know for sure, we are doing some digging.
“It is a good thing to play international football. If we can make that possible, why not?”
