Millwall duo looking set for transfer window deadline day exits

Andreas Voglsammer and George Evans could be set for departures from Millwall before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.

Attacker Voglsammer has been linked with a return to Germany and has attracted interest.

The versatile Evans has stuggled to command game time in SE16 and is in the final year of his Den contract.

The South London Press understands that Millwall will look to making signings if both players do head out the exit door.

Voglsammer signed for the Lions from Union Berlin last August and has scored three goals in 45 appearances.

He has made two substitute appearances in the current campaign, coming off the bench in the 3-1 defeat to Norwich and last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Stoke City.

Evans, who can play in both midfield and defence, signed for Millwall in February 2021 from Derby County. The former Manchester City youngster has made 60 appearances in all competitions for the Lions, scoring twice.
