Millwall face Sheffield United test in U21 Professional Development League national play-off final

Millwall will face Sheffield United on Monday in the U21 Professional Development League national play-off final.

The match (7pm) is at The Den and supporters can attend. Tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for U16s.

It will also be streamed on Millwall TV.

Kevin Nugent’s young Lions have won the Southern section and defeated Hull City 4-3 on Monday to set up a showdown against the Blades.

Milwall fought back from 2-0 down with Nana Boateng headed home to cut the deficit just before the break.

Hull restored their two-goal advantage before Aidomo Emakhu’s penalty and Romain Esse took the contest into extra time. Frankie Baker scored in the first period of extra-time to settle a topsy-turvy contest.

Sheffield United are in the final for the second time in three season and dispatched Bristol City 4-0. Top-scorer Louie Marsh broke the deadlock just nine minutes in and then Will Osula notched a hat-trick.
