Millwall handed tough Arsenal test in FA Youth Cup

Millwall U18s have been drawn away to Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup third round.

The tie, which has to be played before December 17, is likely to take place at Boreham Wood’s Meadow Park.

Millwall have been knocked out in round three in the previous two seasons, losing 6-5 on penalties at Sheffield United in December 2021.

They were quarter-finalists in the 2019-20 season, Armando Broja scoring the only goal for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal last reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2018, losing 7-1 to Chelsea. The north Londoners last lifted the trophy in 2009 after a 6-2 victory over Liverpool.
