Millwall have 2024-25 Championship opponents finalised
Southampton’s play-off final win over Leeds United has finalised the Championship table for the 2024-25 season.
Millwall will be competing in their eighth consecutive season in the second tier after finishing 13th following Neil Harris’ arrival in February.
Portsmouth won League One – ending their 12-year wait for a return to the Championship – after recording 97 points.
Derby County will also be making a return after finishing second in League One – five points behind Pompey.
Oxford United won the League One play-off final, which will see them play in the Championship for the first time in 25 years, following a 2-0 win over Bolton.
Leicester and Ipswich won automatic promotion to the Premier League, with Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United all failing to survive at the first time of asking in the top flight.
Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham were all relegated to League One.
