Millwall have bid accepted for Wigan forward Kieffer Moore
Millwall have had a bid accepted for Kieffer Moore – but the Wigan Athletic striker is set to have plenty of options as he weighs up a summer transfer.
It was reported earlier this week that QPR had made a £2.1million offer for the frontman.
And the South London Press understands the Lions have also come up with the right figure to kick on with negotiations for the 27-year-old.
Moore is also being linked with Middlesbrough and Cardiff City.
He has scored nine goals in 35 appearances for the Latics, who will be deducted 12 points after tonight’s final round of Championship matches. That could see Paul Cook’s side relegated to League One, although the EFL have already said the penalty is subject to any appeal.
The Lions are thought to have a long standing option in Moore, who cost more than £2m when he made the switch from Barnsley to Wigan in August 2019.
He netted 23 times in 55 appearances for the Tykes as well as 13 goals in 25 outings for Rotherham United.
