Millwall have some pre-season plans in place – with overseas training camp details finalised
Millwall have sorted their plans for their next pre-season training camp – which will again be abroad.
The Lions have eight matches left to play in the Championship, starting with an away trip to Sunderland on Saturday.
Last season the South Londoners went out to Spain and played two friendlies at the Pinatar Arena against Nottingham Forest and Real Murcia – with supporters able to attend.
Millwall head coach Alex Neil has confirmed that preparations have already been made for the trip away before the 2025-26 campaign begins.
“That has been finalised now,” the Scot told the South London Press. “There wasn’t anything in place (when he came in) but we have a couple of agents – not football ones – who are agents for pre-season.
“They basically set up the camp for you, provide the opponents, where the training pitch is going to be and what the hotel looks like – what the gym looks like. There were three or four options with a few different people but we finalised where we’re going to be and what we’re doing.
“It won’t be UK based and I believe there will be access for fans to come.”
