Millwall keen on loan deals for Luton midfielder Campbell and Hull attacker Longman

Millwall are interested in loan deals for Luton Town midfielder Allan Campbell and Hull City attacker Ryan Longman.

The Lions look set to be active on the final day of the transfer window with Andreas Voglsammer and George Evans both possible departures.

Luton Town manager Rob Edwards admitted earlier this week that Campbell, 25, could be set for a switch before the 11pm deadline tonight.

Campbell made 48 appearances for the Hatters last season and the Glaswegian was also on Millwall’s radar while he was plying his trade at Motherwell.

Edwards said: “We absolutely love him, he deserves to play football as well, because he’s the best professional.

“It’s probably a little bit difficult for him to get that game time, so it’s something that we’re looking at, at the moment with him.

“He deserves to play. We love him to bits here as well, so if he’s here, brilliant.”

Longman is another who the Lions have kept tabs on for an extended period of time.

The former Brighton youngster impressed on loan at AFC Wimbledon, scoring nine goals in 51 matches when they were in League One during the 2020-21 season.

Longman went on loan to Hull the following campaign and then made a permanent transfer that January.
