Aiden O’Brien is firmly back in contention for Millwall’s game on Saturday – after a decent runout for the club’s under-23 side at QPR on Monday.
The attacker had been out since January with ankle ligament damage. He resumed full training at the start of last week.
Lions boss Neil Harris said: “He needed it [the under-23 game]. There were moments in training he looked sharp and moments when he looked rusty.
“In the position he plays he has to be continuously running, and doing those recovery runs. It was good for him to get 60 minutes. He comes back into my thinking for this weekend.”
The only player not available to Harris is Byron Webster (knee).
“It is good to have a fit squad,” said Harris. “At this stage of the season you need those options and competitive edge – players who are still hungry and driving us forward.”
