Millwall set for midfielder talks in January transfer window
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Millwall manager Neil Harris will hold talks with Jem Karacan soon – with the midfielder’s deal due to expire next month.
The experienced midfielder signed in mid-August on a short-term deal until January.
Karacan has made just two Championship appearances – both in December.
Karacan’s Den stay is due to be up in the middle of January.
Harris said: “I’ve had a good chat with Jem regarding his future. He is a brilliant pro and a great lad. The opportunity to play for us hasn’t really come yet.
“There is a lot to consider. Jem has had a lot of toing and froing in the last three years with moves to different cities and countries. He wants to settle down a little bit.
“It is a conversation for the next week or two.”
