Millwall striker named in Serbia squad for Nations League fixtures against Spain and Switzerland
Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic has been named in Serbia’s preliminary squad for their Nations League matches against Switzerland and Spain next month.
The 19-year-old forward, who was a club record signing by the Lions in the summer, made his debut in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at QPR.
Ivanovic will be hoping to gain minutes for his country when they take on the Swiss on October 12 and then Spain three days later.
The frontman was also called up in the last international break despite the Lions flagging a foot problem which had been revealed from their medical checks before completing his switch from Vojvodina.
Former Fulham goal machine Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of the other five forwards in the squad.
