Millwall to play League Two opposition in pre-season

Millwall will head to League Two side Gillingham during pre-season.

The Lions will travel to Prestfiled, with Neil Harris returning for the first time since leaving in October 2023.

Harris, who returned to Millwall and guided the Lions to Championship safety last season, managed the Gills 90 times after landing the job in January 2022.

They finished 12th in League Two, but Mark Bonner’s have moved quickly to bolster their squad in the summer window, signing Armani Little, Jack Nolan and Elliott Nevitt.

The two sides last played each other in August 2018 in the first round of the EFL Cup, with Millwall running out winners on penalties after a goalless draw.

The game will kick off at 13:00 on July 13.

The rest of Millwall’s pre-season schedule will be announced in due course.
