Millwall v Sheffield Wednesday team line-ups: Two changes for Lions as Tanganga and De Norre start

Millwall head coach Joe Edwards makes two changes for today’s home game against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Lions are boosted by a trio of injured players – Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Aidomo Emakhu and Ryan Longman – being fit enough for a place on the bench.

Tottenham loanee Japhet Tanganga replaces Wes Harding in the backline while Casper De Norre comes in for George Saville.

Michael Obafemi is still absent due to illness while Kevin Nisbet (hamstring) also misses out.

The Lions are 21st in the Championship table following their 4-0 defeat to Ipswich Town on Wednesday night but are looking for their first double over Sheffield Wednesday since the 2002-03 season.

Edwards’ first match in charge was a 4-0 victory at Hillsborough.

Millwall have collected just one point from their last 18 and have the third worst home record in the division.

Millwall: Sarkic, Tanganga, Cooper, Leonard, McNamara, Wallace, De Norre, Honeyman, Esse, Flemming, Bradshaw. Subs: Bialkowski, Mitchell, Longman, Mayor, Norton-Cuffy, Watmore, Emakhu, Saville, Harding.

Sheffield Wednesday: Beadle, Palmer, Vaulks, Bannan, Ugbo, Valentin, Bernard, Johnson, Ihiekwe, Poveda, Musaba. Subs: Charles, Diaby, Wilks, Smith, Siqueira, Fletcher, James, Gassama, Diaby.
