Millwall v Sunderland team line-ups: De Norre missing from Lions squad as Edwards make four changes
Millwall head coach Joe Edwards has made four changes for today’s home game against Sunderland with midfielder Casper De Norre not in their matchday squad.
The Belgian has been one of the club’s most impressive performers and his absence is due to a calf injury.
Billy Mitchell replaces De Norre in the starting line-up.
Edwards has also brought Jake Cooper, who was benched for Wednesday’s 3-1 Championship loss at Ipswich Town, back into the team with Shaun Hutchinson dropping to the subs list.
Ryan Leonard and Kevin Nisbet, who scored against the Tractor Boys, also start with Ryan Longman and Tom Bradshaw making way.
Millwall are bidding to avoid a third straight reverse.
Former Charlton youngster Mason Burstow starts up front for Sunderland.
Millwall: Bialkowski, Leonard, Cooper, Harding, Wallace, Mitchell, Saville, Honeyman, Norton-Cuffy, Flemming, Nisbet. Subs: Sarkic, McNamara, Hutchinson, Bradshaw, Longman, Campbell, Watmore, Emakhu, Esse.
