Millwall will review futures of loan stars in December – with Onyedinma and King not guaranteed starters at Dons and Wycombe

Millwall will review the playing prospects of their loan players in December – with Tom King and Fred Onyedinma both struggling for significant minutes.
Goalkeeper King joined AFC Wimbledon in the summer but has been benched for their last four matches in League One with Joe McDonnell preferred between the posts.
The 23-year-old is in the final year of his Lions contract and is fourth-choice stopper behind Ben Amos, Jordan Archer and David Martin.
Onyedinma, 21, opted for a return to Wycombe Wanderers rather than signing for the Dons and has started three of their seven fixtures.
Midfielder Ben Thompson has not started the last five matches for table-topping Portsmouth. He came on at the break in Saturday’s 2-0 home loss to Gillingham.
“Players want to go on loan because they want to play football,” said Millwall manager Neil Harris. “Sometimes it’s an eye-opener for players when they come out of our system and set-up, thinking they are going to play somewhere else.
“We keep a very close eye on an individual’s loan. We speak to clubs and players to make sure they are happy, or as happy as they can be if they are not playing.
“We will review them all come December and review what the plan will be in January.”
