Millwall winger Mayor set for Bromley loan switch
Millwall winger Adam Mayor is set to join Bromley on loan.
The 19-year-old signed for the Lions in the last January transfer window from Morecambe.
Mayor’s progress has been disrupted by frustrating injuries but he now has the chance to kick on in the second half of the campaign with the League Two outfit, who have made a solid adjustment to life at the level following their win in the National League play-offs.
Mayor’s only appearance this season came in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Dagenham & Redbridge. The teenager started that tie and played 75 minutes before being replaced by Ra’ees Bangura-Williams.
Mayor played four Championship matches last season, all of them as a substitute. He made his debut in the February fixture at Coventry City.
He netted six times in 37 league outings for Morecambe and was signed as a ‘project’ by Millwall.
