Mitchel Bergkamp scores in Bromley defeat at Woking

Bromley lost 2-1 at Woking in the National League on Tuesday night.

Mitchel Bergkamp, the son of Arsenal legend Dennis, put the Ravens ahead in the 26th minute.

Woking responded before half-time with goals from Scott Cuthbert and Jim Kellerman.

The Cards had Rhys Browne sent off for a challenge on keeper Reice Charles-Cook early in the second half.

“The manner of the goals conceded were not us [usually],” said Bromley boss Andy Woodman. “That has hurt me a little bit, and hurt the lads.

“We’ve had a sickness bug and injuries. When you have got three players out it is kind of hard, that has affected us a little bit.”

The Ravens, eighth in the table, head to play-off rivals Eastleigh this weekend.
