National League fixtures to resume from Monday – with Bromley, Dulwich and Welling all in action
The National League have confirmed that their midweek fixtures will go ahead as scheduled.
The Premier League, EFL and National League all postponed their weekend matches as a mark of respect after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday.
“The league can confirm that further to the announcement that the funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be held on Monday September 19, National League fixtures for week commencing Monday September 12 will go ahead as scheduled,” said a National League statement.
“Clubs, for all fixtures up until the funeral, will observe a one-minute silence prior to the game and will wear black armbands as a mark of respect to Her Majesty.”
Bromley play at York on Tuesday in the National League. Dulwich Hamlet are at home to Hemel Hempstead Town with Welling United at Eastbourne Borough on the same night in National League South.
