Neil Harris has told his Millwall side to get back to basics as they look to halt their Championship losing streak when leaders Leeds United head to The Den on Saturday.
The Lions have lost their last three league matches, with 10-man Swansea claiming a 2-1 win before the international break.
Harris said: “Leeds is a really difficult game and we need to try to be that hard-to-beat and resolute Millwall team.
“It is just finding that again and ironing out a few things that have let us down in the last couple of weeks.
“We have got good players and a good team. The harder you work the more rewards you get in the game.
“We’ll be working really hard over the international break. There is no guarantee of winning a game of football but it is about getting back to being really nitty-gritty and at our best.”
Harris has some of his squad away on international duty.
“There will be in-house minutes for everybody who has not travelled,” said the Millwall chief. “There are a couple of knocks that we’re able to sort out.
Someone like James Meredith, who had no summer [because of being away with Australia at the World Cup], gets the opportunity to rest his legs.
“It is about using the time wisely to give individuals what they need. We’re really proud of the lads who are away representing their countries and hope they come back in one piece.
