Non-league: Fisher win ‘Battle of Bermondsey’

Fisher were 5-1 winners in the SCEFL Challenge Cup on Tuesday night as they won their local derby with Bermondsey.

A goal from Luke With and a Lewis Duberry penalty had the hosts in control before the interval.

Henry Adeeniran and Billy Brown extended the Fish’s advantage before the 70-minute mark.

Nader Zeddini added a fifth late on after Bermondsey had cut the deficit.

Fisher were knocked out of the FA Vase after a 2-1 loss at home to Jersey Bulls on Saturday. Eni Amgbaduba had put the South Londoners into an early lead.

Bromley head to Dorking Wanderers in the National League tomorrow looking to end an eight-match run without a victory.

Andy Woodman’s side drew 1-1 with FC Halifax Town last weekend, Michael Cheek scoring his second goal in the last three fixtures.

Bromley are 10th in the table, four points behind Barnet, who occupy the final play-off position.

Isthmian League South Central Division strugglers Tooting & Mitcham are away to Basingstoke Town tomorrow.

The Terrors have not played since a 2-1 defeat at Walton & Hersham on November 5. They have collected nine points from 11 matches.
