Non-league round-up: Bromley close on National League play-off spots as Dulwich held by Dover Athletic

Bromley are only outside the National League play-offs on goal difference after a 1-0 win at promotion rivals Southend United.

Dulwich Hamlet are 17th in National League South following a 1-1 draw with Dover Athletic on Boxing Day.

Joe Felix put the South London club ahead in the 19th minute – his first goal since signing – turning in Andre Blackman’s cutback.

Their Kent opponents levelled on 37 minutes. Former Dulwich player Jordan Higgs struck from 25 yards just moments after keeper Charlie Grainger had made a big save.

Former Millwall striker Alfie Pavey was denied in the 49th minute, Grainger saving with his legs with Quade Taylor also keeping out a Luke Baptiste header on the goal-line.

Pavey and Dover substitute Noah Carney both wasted further chances to put the visitors in front at Champion Hill.

Dulwich play the reverse fixture at The Crabble Stadium on Sunday.

Cray Wanderers are up to third in the Isthmian League Premier Division after a 3-0 triumph at Margate. Tom Derry, Anthony Cook and Joshua Allen scored for the Wands, who have played more fixtures than any other club in the league.

Nathan Daly’s 79th-minute goal sealed a 1-0 win for Tooting & Mitcham over Guernsey on Boxing Day.
