Non-league round-up: Dulwich exit FA Trophy, Bromley progress and Covid-hit Fisher lose
Dulwich Hamlet were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the third round stage after they lost 4-3 on penalties at Plymouth Parkway on Saturday.
River Allen gave the hosts the lead after 15 minutes but a last-minute equaliser from Hamlet midfielder Alpha Diallo took the game to penalties.
Plymouth won the shootout to progress to the next round. Dulwich Hamlet are due to face Welling United on Boxing Day.
Hamlet are fourth in the National League South, just two points off top of the table Ebbsfleet United.
Bromley progressed to the next round of the FA Trophy after they beat Dover Athletic 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Finlay Lovatt’s 28th minute strike meant the Ravens will be in the hat for the fourth round draw on Monday, with ties being played on Saturday, January 15.
The Hayes Lane outfit are next in action on Boxing Day when they host Southend United.
Cray Wanderers lost 3-1 at home to Dartford on Saturday afternoon.
Three goals in six minutes was enough to send the Darts through to the next round of the competition. Cray did get a consolation through Jai Reason when he scored with 15 minutes remaining.
Cray Wanderers host Margate on December 27 in their next fixture and will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Covid-hit Fisher were thrashed 4-1 by Deal Town on the weekend. Harry Main scored the South London club’s only goal of the game as they were put to the sword by in form Deal.
Fisher’s next fixture is a home match against Edith & Belvedere on Monday, December 27, and they will be looking to get their first win in five matches.
