Non-league round-up: Dulwich Hamlet drawn against Havant & Waterlooville in FA Cup but Tooting knocked out by Poole Town
Dulwich Hamlet have been drawn away to fellow National League South side Havant & Waterlooville in the FA Cup.
Hamlet progressed to the final qualifying round for the first time since the 2000-01 season with a 3-0 victory over Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.
The fourth round qualifying draw was made by former Charlton midfielder Danny Murphy and commentator John Motson yesterday afternoon.
Ade Yusuff converted two penalties with Richard Orlu also scoring in the Eastbourne tie at Champion Hill.
Tooting & Mitcham United suffered their first loss of the season in any competition as they lost 2-0 in the FA Cup at home to Poole Town.
Marvin Brooks netted in the 13th minute with Oliver Dennett adding another goal in the closing stages.
Bromley were beaten in the National League for the second time this season – 2-1 at home to Barrow.
Michael Cheek got a late consolation for the Ravens, who are second in the table and only two points behind FC Halifax.
Neil Smith’s side will face Aldershot Town at home in the FA Cup.
Ajay Ashanike, pictured above, is the new Fisher manager after Allan Fenn resigned last week. Player-goalkeeper coach Chris Clark and first-team coach Jacques Edouard have also departed.
Ashanike, who had been assistant boss, said: “I’d like to thank Allan for having brought me to the club in the first place, and wish him all the very best.”
The Fish started his reign with a 0-0 draw at Chatham Town in the SCEFL Premier Division.
Greenwich Borough lost 3-2 at Deal Town. Alex Nelson and Kemo Darboe netted.
AFC Croydon lost 1-0 at home to Welling Town.
Croydon won 4-1 at Kent Football Utd in SCEFL First Division – their scorers were Andy Somo (two), Jermel Johnson and Levi Shango.
Archie Todd and Khalifa Jabbie were on target in Lewisham Borough’s 2-0 victory at Meridian XP.
