Non-league round-up: Dulwich Hamlet knocked out of Velocity Cup by Kingstonian

Dulwich Hamlet were knocked out of the Velocity Trophy following a third round defeat to Kingstonian on Tuesday night.

Kaya Hansson and Adrian Clifton scored for the Hamlet but a late strike from Eddie Dsane booked the hosts’ spot in the next round as they triumphed 3-2.

Hamlet continue their Isthmian League Premier Division campaign at home to Margate at Champion Hill on Saturday.

They picked up a 1-1 draw at Haringey Borough last weekend. Ayuk Tarh scored their goal.

“That’s one game in five now in the league where we haven’t picked up points, so we’re getting there,” said Dulwich boss Hakan Hayrettin after the draw.

“I’ll take the point, without a shadow of a doubt. If you draw away and you win at home, then you have a chance. We’re slowly but surely grinding them out.”

Bromley will look to make it four wins on the bounce in the National League when they take on Boreham Wood away on Saturday.

Andy Woodman’s side suffered defeat in their FA Cup first round clash at home to Blackpool last weekend, but they are third in the National League and nine points off table-toppers Chesterfield,

Boreham Wood are 18th but remain unbeaten in their last three outings.
