Non-league round-up: Dulwich’s wizard in magic form as Bromley boss labels on-loan Millwall man as unlucky for own goal

Luke Wanadio lived up to his nickname of ‘The Wizard’ as he conjured up three points for Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday, writes Richard Cawley.

The 31-year-old scored a hat-trick in his side’s 4-1 win at Margate in the Isthmian League Premier Division with captain Jerome Binnom-Williams also netting.

“It’s nice to score a hat-trick and it’s my 17th goal of the season,” Wanadio told Dulwich Hamlet’s X account. “I just want to keep going.”

Dulwich are ninth in the table and six points behind Enfield, who occupy the last play-off position.

Bromley have not won in five National League matches and lost 2-1 at home to Hartlepool on Sunday. Michael Cheek put the Ravens into a ninth-minute lead but Manny Dieseruvwe made it 1-1 on the half-hour mark.

Millwall loanee Karmarl Grant’s own goal decided the contest.

Bromley manager Andy Woodman said: “I felt sorry for the big man, because he is racing back to try and clear it – it’s just caught him and gone in.

“Grant had a good game. I felt a bit sorry for him – it happens. He’ll be devastated, but it’s part of his learning.

“You can’t give teams goals, particularly at home – we’ve conceded too many.”

Bromley are at home to Aveley in the FA Trophy tomorrow.
