Non-league round-up: Former Crystal Palace man inspires Dulwich Hamlet in 2-0 win at Chelmsford

Dulwich Hamlet are up to third in the National League South standings after a 2-0 win at Chelmsford City on Saturday.

Quade Taylor put Gavin Rose’s side into a sixth minute lead when he headed in Giovanni McGregor’s corner.

Former Crystal Palace youngster McGregor quickly added a second with a 30-yard free-kick.

Hamlet keeper Charlie Grainger made some saves after that to ensure the clean sheet.

Danny Mills wrestled to the ground

Corey Milton Whitely scored the only goal as Bromley won 1-0 at Dover Athletic in the National League.

Ezekiel Paul scored twice as Lewisham Borough beat Westside 2-1 in the SCEFL First Division.

Ali Wiltshire also netted a double – one a penalty – as Tooting Bec squeezed past SC Thamesmead. Ed Mbango was also on target in a 3-2 victory.

Chelmsford keeper can’t keep out MacGregor’s freekick

Luke Tan’s 20th-minute goal was enough to secure Colliers Wood United a 1-0 win over Punjab United in the FA Vase.

Tim Beckford opened the scoring for Croydon in their tie but they went on to lose 4-1 at home to Horley Town. Forest Hill Park won 3-2 at Greenways with Chris Alhassan (two) and Alberton Garcia netting.

Tyrone Sterling wins his header

AFC Croydon exited the competition following a 4-0 thumping at Holmesdale.

Jordan Gallagher helped himself to two goals as Raynes Park Vale won by the same scoreline at home against Welling Town. Marcus Dowdeswell and Neset Can Bellikli also got on the scoresheet.
