giles@slpmedia.co.ukErith motorcycle racer Casey O’Gorman is hoping to be able to race at round three of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies championship at Le Mans this weekend after crashing and fracturing his wrist in round one of the European Talent Cup in Estoril, Portugal over the bank holiday.

The 15 year old started the weekend off well, topping the first practice session by 0.765 seconds but crashed out of the second qualifying session and was declared unfit to race.

O’Gorman took to social media to say, “Recovery going well after three days of ice and heat treatment. Wrist is getting better now, getting a couple of days with the laser and oxygen chamber treatment at @somerset_health_practice.”
