‘One of the best’ – Ex-Chelsea winger Willian heaps praise on Fulham boss Silva

Fulham forward Willian believes that Marco Silva is “one of the best” managers he has worked with during his playing career.

The 34-year-old joined the west Londoners in the summer on a free transfer after leaving Corinthians.

Willian, who has been capped 70 times by Brazil and played at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, has played 25 times in the Premier League this season, scoring five goals and recording four assists.

Fulham are 10th in the Premier League and host Crystal Palace this weekend.

Ex-Everton and Hull boss Silva has won 47 of his 92 games in charge of Fulham.

“Every year, this club can fight for something special and Marco Silva has been brilliant this season and last season as well,” said the former Chelsea and Arsenal winger.

“I can say that he is one of the best managers I have worked with in my whole career, and it has been great to work with him.”
