‘One of the best in the world’ – Will Hughes makes prediction on ex-Crystal Palace teammate

Will Hughes believes that ex-Crystal Palace teammate Michael Olise will be one of the best players in the world across and described the former Reading winger as a “one-off” talent.

Hughes, 29, played 53 times alongside Olise during their time together at Selhurst Park.

The mercurial attacker left the Eagles in the summer to join Bayern Munich in a £50million deal and has racked up 19 goal contributions in 25 games at the German giants.

Hughes said “Michael is a one-off talent, not just in the Premier League but in world football.

“He is going to be one of the best in the world for the next five to 10 years.

“When you lose someone of that calibre, you’re never going to get a like-for-like replacement.

“He’s a frightening talent.”
