Oxford United want Crystal Palace winger on loan

Oxford United want to take Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei on loan, the South London Press understands.

The 20-year-old was named on the bench in Saturday’s 6-3 pre-season win over League One has stayed behind from Palace’s pre-season tour of the USA.

Ebiowei spent the second-half of last season on loan with Belgian side RWD Molenbeek with Eagles left-back Tayo Adaramola.

He has also had a loan stint with Hull City during his time with the South Londoners.

Lambeth-born Ebiowei joined Palace in June 2022 from Derby County and has featured five times at senior level for the club.

Oxford won promotion to the Championship last season after a 2-0 play-off final win over Bolton at Wembley.
