Palace handed transfer boost if they pursue deal for Manchester United defender

Crystal Palace could reignite their interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with Manchester United reportedly willing to ‘listen to offers’ for the defender.

The Athletic have reported that United could offload the Palace academy graduate in the upcoming summer window, with the club keen to sign an attacking right-back and with talks underway with Diogo Dalot for a new deal.

Palace looked at signing the 25-year-old on loan in the January transfer window, but Wan-Bissaka cemented his place in Erik ten Hag’s starting line-up after the 2022 World Cup.

The Croydon-born defender will enter the final year of his deal at Old Trafford at the start of next season.

Wan-Bissaka made 46 appearances at Selhurst Park under Roy Hodgson before he was sold to Manchester United in 2019 for a club record £50million.

He has made 146 appearances for United in all competitions and won EFL Cup earlier this season.
