Palace’s Blackburn Rovers striker target Adam Armstrong set to be snatched by Premier League rivals Southampton

Southampton have reportedly had a bid accepted for Crystal Palace transfer target Adam Armstrong.
Armstrong has scored 49 goals in 160 appearances for Rovers, since signing from Newcastle in 2018, for a fee estimated to be around £1.75million.
The Mail reported last week that Palace were favourites to sign Armstrong.
However now Sky Sports are reporting that the Saints have had a bid accepted for the 24-year-old.
The website adds that Armstrong has been give permission to speak to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side and has travelled to Southampton to finalise personal terms ahead of a medical on Tuesday.
Crystal Palace have had a bid turned town for Armstrong, Sky Sports claim.
