Portsmouth boss nominated for League One Manager of the Month ahead of Charlton clash

Portsmouth boss John Mousinho has been nominated for League One’s Manager of the Month for October ahead of Saturday’s clash at home to Charlton Athletic.

Pompey has recorded successive unbeaten months through September and October, with Mousinho recording four wins and picking up one draw.

Mousinho’s side are top of League One and are three points clear of second-place Oxford, who have just lost their manager to Bristol City.

Portsmouth are yet to lose in 15 League One outings this season.

Charlton are 11th in League One and find themselves five points off the play-off spots.

Bolton’s Ian Evatt, Barnsley’s Neill Collins and Cheltenham’s Darrell Clarke are also all up for the award.
