Real Sociedad linked with move for Crystal Palace keeper Vicente Guaita

Real Sociedad are being linked with a move for Vicente Guaita – with Spanish press claiming the Crystal Palace keeper is keen on the switch.

Mundo Deportivo claim the Eagles number one, 34, wants the transfer to happen and that he is ready to sign a deal with the La Liga outfit until the summer of 2023.

The also report that Guaita has two other potential move options and that Sociedad are weighing up whether to try and strike an agreement with the Eagles now or wait until the summer.

Mundo Deportive also claim that the stopper is out of contract at the end of June.

But Palace do not always announce deal extensions instantly and there has been speculation that Guaita could have already extended his terms.

If so, that would put the Eagles in a far stronger position.

The former Valencia and Getafe player has made 79 appearances for Palace since signing in July 2018.
